Here at JD Wellness and Healing, we offer coaching and holistic therapies bundled together to start and progress the healing process. When you hire Jennifer as your coach, you get full service coaching that includes a combination of these therapies, depending on your session method. We believe that holistic therapies need to include the whole person for successful healing and wellness - Mind, body, spirit and emotions. Physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances can affect overall health and the healing process. By working toward balance in these life areas, one can reach optimal health and wellness. Although these services should never be used to diagnose any diseases or replace proper attention for serious medical conditions...these therapies are complementary and can help in areas that traditional western medicine are failing or lacking. There truly is healing in the methods that our ancestors used before modern medical equipment and medications were created. Plants and foods are medicine. Holistic therapies do work. And our minds can heal our bodies and our spirits.

Coaching

Through sessions with Jennifer, you will receive guidance toward your intended life-path. Sessions consist of one-on-one talking, and a combination of the therapies below to take control of your health, wealth and your future. Jennifer will support you through goal setting, habit forming / stopping, affirmations, and healing thru alternative medicines and practices. 

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy uses the mind as a tool to help with a variety of problems, such as breaking bad habits or coping with stress. A series of exercises and sessions that use meditation, imagery, and suggestive therapy will put you well on our way to overcoming fears, addictions, traumas, roadblocks, obstacles and negative thoughts. And no, there is no quacking like a duck or dancing around unknowingly....that is a myth!

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses plants and aromatic plant oils, including essential oils, and other aroma compounds, to help improve psychological and physical well-being. This therapy is complementary to other therapies, such as yoga, acupressure, auriculotherapy, meditation, reflexology and Reiki.

Acupressure

Similar to acupuncture, this technique is based on the concept that life energy flows through "meridians" in the body, but without the use of needles. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points to clear blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various non-invasive instruments. 

Meditation

A technique used, such as mindfulness or focusing your mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Meditation is known to relieve stress and anxiety, create self-awareness and calmness, and help with things such as pain and anger management. 

Spiritual Healing

Spiritual Healing is about working with illness, dis-ease and imbalance from multiple angles.

When using spiritual healing to address these issues, we focus on bringing harmony back to reinforce a person’s whole body-heart-mind health.

Toe Reading

Toe Reading is a unique technique, that uses active listening, soul-searching questions, and deeply skilled insight to help people create change in their lives. The position and shape of the toes contain a story. And when read by a skilled practitioner, can uncover truths, fears, obstacles and confusion to help us get back on our intended life path. 

Holistic Nutrition

We are what we eat! A person's health is an expression of the complex interplay between the physical and chemical, mental and emotional, as well as spiritual and environmental aspects of one’s life and being. Holistic nutrition approaches health and healing from a whole-person perspective. Using nutritional education as a primary tool, holistic nutrition emphasizes the building of health and disease risk-reduction and prevention by approaching each person as individual, fully engaging in the recovery process with healing foods to create optimal health.

Energy Healing / Reiki

Reiki is a spiritually guided method for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet and hands. These active points correspond to different body organs and systems, and pressing them creates real benefits for a person's health and wellness.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the art and science of using herbs for promoting health and preventing and treating illness. It has persisted as the world's primary form of medicine since the beginning of time, with a written history more than 5000 years old. While the use of herbs in America has been overshadowed by dependence on modern medications the last 100 years, 75% of the world's population still rely primarily upon traditional healing practices.
